My Alarm Arms But The Doors Wont Lock

I turned it off but when i hit the lock button on the key the lights flashed the doors locked but the horn did not toot.

My alarm arms but the doors wont lock.

This evening i accidently set off the panic alarm when putting the key ring in my pocket. The alarm is the one that locks and unlocks the doors for me. If it is loose or has slipped out of the mortise place it back in the mortise and tighten the screws with a phillips screwdriver. I have to open the door and push the lock button.

I have also tried locking it from the inside door itself. Shut the door and try to lock it. Have the vehicle turned off and the doors closed unlock the vehicle or disarm the alarm system by pressing unlock on your remote. Press the unlock and the trunk buttons ii iii at the same time.

Press and release do not press and hold. My alarm will not arm. I have a 1997 nissan sentra with auto locks and an aftermarket alarm and when i press the arm button my alarm arms but doesn t lock my doors the unlock button will unarm my car and unlock the doors if i lock them manually how can i fix this myself. The fix is easy too.

The connecting tab can either be tightened or replaced as needed. What could be the sudden problem. I get the standard two beeps when unlocking. When i push the alarm button to disarm it unlocks and doors and is fine.

All the doors lock fine. Any advice would be appreciated. But each time i want to arm my car i have to push the door lock button. If it won t lock open the door.

This is more than likely linked to the alarm right. I have checked all. When i push my alarm button to lock it arms but doesnt lock the doors.
